For our customer MuchMoreWater A/S in Denmark AWILCO has supplied the EFOY Pro 12000 Duo fuel cell which is the ideal power supply for MuchMoreWater’s BlueBox water purification system.
The BlueBox water purification system, which is often used in remote and off-grid areas to ensure the availability of safe drinking water, depends on the availability of reliable power sources. Earlier the system relied on either diesel generators or solar power in off-grid scenarios, but MuchMoreWater sought a reliable and environmentally friendly power source for the system, that could seamlessly take full control of the power supply or work in hybrid mode with solar energy.
With the EFOY Pro 12000 Duo from SFC Energy MuchMoreWater found an exceptional level of reliability and independence of solar power. The fuel cell is integrated into MuchMoreWater’s PowerBox together with 4 M28 fuel cartridges, a 3,000 W inverter and 4 x AGM batteries as well as other accessories.
The PowerBox is configured to be combined with solar panels as a supplement which makes the whole system a robust alternative, offering immediate power access in a compact low-noise, and highly automated design.
The result is a perfect combination where clean water meets clean energy, anytime and anywhere. This setup enables any unit, regardless of its location, to provide access to drinkable water within just 6-7 minutes of opening the BlueBox lid and seamlessly connecting the PowerBox with the integrated EFOY Pro 12000 Duo.
